Vision/Mission Statement

We would appreciate a moment of your time to talk with you about Richmond Academy. Richmond Academy was founded for the purpose of educating the whole child; heart, mind and body, in a manner that is uniquely Seventh-day Adventist Christian. Our purpose is threefold:

Firstly, we want to teach our students to view others through the eyes of love. Our Mission Statement above, “Loving, Learning, Living in Christ.” simply underscores our commitment to educate the heart of a child to love others as Christ has loved us. In Matthew 25:40, our Lord says, “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’”

Secondly, we want to teach our students to really think…logically and prayerfully, for themselves. Our goal of “learning,” means we strive to enable our students to be actively engaged in the cognitive process and achieve their true academic potential.

Thirdly, we want to teach our students to become mature individuals who will choose living by Christian principles and contributing to the betterment of others. Our goal is to encourage students
to accept Christ’s commission to preach the gospel through personal witness in any career they
may choose.

Daily seeking God’s guidance, our staff is joyfully committed to the rewarding work of teaching your child to pursue his or her full potential by loving, learning and living in Christ. We sincerely hope you will prayerfully consider whether Richmond Academy is the right school for your child.  We invite you to come visit us any time, simply contact us at (804) 353-0036. We look forward to the opportunity to meet you.
