Spirituality

Being educated in a Christian environment fosters strong moral values and encourages students to develop a personal relationship with Christ.

Richmond Academy helps students build a firm foundation in biblical knowledge and faith with daily Bible instruction. Students integrate their Christian beliefs into everyday life through classroom worship, regular chapels, and a bi-annual week of spiritual emphasis or Week of Prayer. Each year, one of our Weeks of Prayer is led by students, with them planning and delivering the program.

Adventist Education’s standards for student learning have been developed and adopted to reflect our Biblical worldview across the subjects, PreK-12. This worldview accepts the Bible as the standard by which everything else is measured, and is used as the lens for curriculum development and informs the essential questions and big ideas of any content area. Thus, students are able to apply Bible-based, spiritual principles to all aspects of their lives.
