Servant Leaders

Character building and leadership development are integral to student life at Richmond Academy.

Students of all grade levels are challenged to adopt and put into practice a number of leadership and life-readiness skills that are critical in today’s ever-changing environment. These skills include critical thinking, self-discipline, initiative, teamwork, relationship building, emotional control, time management, communication, and problem solving.

Young leaders are encouraged to adopt a Biblical worldview and to follow in the footsteps of Jesus by living a life of service. There are opportunities to join service-oriented clubs and activities organized on campus and in the community. For example, students serve as officers for, and operate, the on-campus Red Cross Club, which is an extension of the Virginia Region of the American Red Cross.
