How much is your child’s eternal destiny
worth?
Think of your child’s education at
Richmond Academy as an investment in their eternal, as well as
their earthly future.
There are a number of reasons why such an investment is so wise.
Richmond Academy provides a spiritual advantage for youth in three
key areas of school life: Academic, Social, and Individual.
Academic – Bible Instruction
Bible classes give students the academic Biblical knowledge needed
for a firm foundation in their faith. Here they are encouraged
to ask questions and seek the answers in God’s Word. The
lessons learned in the classroom provide students with the tools
needed to continually study and grow in their understanding of
Biblical principles and prophecy.
Social – Religious Experience
Daily classroom worship and weekly school chapels provide a sense
of being an important part of a community of faith. These times
of worship inspire and encourage students in their walk with
Christ. Community service opportunities emphasize giving back,
and prepare youth for their life-long mission of taking the good
news of the gospel message to those around them.
Individual – Christian Values
Faith and values are interwoven with all disciplines taught and
pervade the entire atmosphere of the school. A biannual Week
of Spiritual Emphasis puts a special focus on living one’s
faith. This sense of living our faith in a practical, everyday
way, prepares students to take their Bible knowledge out of the
classroom and make it a part of who they are.
We must keep in mind that no one facet of
a child’s life
can alone make the determination for his or her future. It truly
takes a village to raise a child. Parents, extended family, school,
church and friends, all have a part to play in the decision our
youth will make about their final destiny. You can encourage your
child to make the right decision by giving them the spiritual advantage
of a Seventh-day Adventist Christian education at Richmond Academy.
Taught by Example
“The thing I value most about my education
is the Christian atmosphere it provided. My teachers taught
by example, not just by textbook. I have no doubt that learning
in that environment helped me to grow mentally as well as
spiritually. Today I’m a multimedia developer with
Hilton Grand Vacations Company in Orlando, FL.” – Andy
Shaw (‘96)
